To serve the national strategy Cangzhou Huanghua Port to build a northern ore supply chain service center
In early spring, the Bohai Sea coast is full of vitality, and the Huanghua Port bulk cargo area in Cangzhou, Hebei, is bustling with construction activity. The ore blending trade center project in the Huanghua Port bulk cargo logistics park, invested and constructed by Cangzhou Port Development Group, has successfully completed the land formation project and fully entered the vacuum preloading treatment stage for soft soil foundations, marking the project construction entering the core phase of tackling challenges, setting a good start for high-quality development of Huanghua Port in the new year.

The project is located in the storage area of the Huanghua Port bulk cargo area, covering a total area of 46.91 hectares, with a total investment of 2.572 billion yuan and an annual designed throughput capacity of 16 million tons. It is a key project for Huanghua Port to implement the national transportation structure adjustment strategy and ensure the stability of the regional iron ore supply chain. At the construction site, the board insertion machines are working efficiently, drainage boards are being laid out orderly, and the construction team is seizing the schedule and working meticulously, creating a construction boom in the new spring with practical and swift actions.

As an important carrier for port function upgrades, the project fully utilizes the location, shipping, and rail transport advantages of Huanghua Port, bringing forward processing steps such as iron ore blending and screening to the port, effectively integrating storage, logistics, trade, and processing functions, further improving the port's modern supply chain system. Once completed, the project will significantly enhance Huanghua Port's storage and transit capacity, reduce comprehensive logistics costs for enterprises, and efficiently reach the vast hinterlands of southwestern Hebei and northwestern Shandong.

Next, Cangzhou Port Group will closely focus on node targets, strengthen construction coordination and quality control, and promote project construction with high standards, high efficiency, and high quality, striving for early completion and commissioning. Once the project is operational, it will help Huanghua Port become an important iron ore spot trading and supply chain service center in northern China, continuously enhancing the port's hub status and core competitiveness, injecting strong momentum into accelerating the construction of a world-class bulk cargo hub port.
